on 10 and 11 November 2010 was held at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Architecture, the fourth event sponsored by the Commission for Culture of the School of Architecture with reflection on space and society, said the subject of appeal to the international magazine of architecture and planning for twenty five years directed by Giancarlo De Carlo and his cultural position, enlivened by the intense fusion of deep knowledge of the trade architect and the particular sensitivity to social and cultural aspects of the city.
It was the fourth of the events promoted on an annual basis, the Faculty of Architecture under the mandate given by the Dean Frank made to the Commission for Cultural Affairs, composed by Franco Zagari (coordinator), the Department Directors Gianpiero Donin , Concetta Fallanca, Francesco Morace, Attilio Nesi, Simonetta Valtieri, the Director of the Library and the student Serena Claudio Roseti help.
to this discussion has been devoted to the instant book that was presented at the opening of that preprint returns of more than 130 reports and statements gathered for the event "Space and Society."
The authors are professors and researchers and scholars outside of the Mediterranean. Their contributions have been collected by the Departments: AACM (Department of Architecture and Analysis of the Mediterranean City); DASTEC (Department of Arts, Science and Technology of Building), OASIS (Department of Planning for the city, the landscape and the territory ) PAU (Department of Architectural Heritage and Urban), DSAT (Department of Environmental Science and Regional).
