Good bye, GNOKII! |
| View of the entrance to the Don Gnocchi |
not really even know where I can publish this post ... are currently at Niguarda hospital yesterday and I was never able to connect for more than 20 seconds with my laptop.
To register, record or if you prefer, are the hours of 20:03 August 6, 2010, Friday.
It 's been very early, some of you already know many of you will know when they read this post:
never came back to the Don Gnocchi. Monday quit the Niguarda, destination Arenzano (GE), Functional Rehabilitation and Recovery Unit of the Hospital La Colletta. Main objective: to be closer to my home to see my family more often and causing less disruption to travel in to visit me.
Hospital La Colletta, for whom he had never heard of, a rehabilitation center is quite popular in Liguria. He reports all'ASL3, Genova. Do not really know much more, there have never been here, but I only heard about. This is the 'big brother "of the rehabilitation center in Genoa at the Palace of the Health Fiumara, where I was going to do stationary bike 3 times a week when I lived at home now.
From first thoughts to the final decision, less than thirty minutes:
12.30 am, chatting with my wife
- Me: You know what I said to Dr. F. (The primary Cardio2 Niguarda here)? That she really does not affect anything that I am at the Don Gnocchi, the important thing is that I'm concerned, to be careful, trying to stay in good physical form and in the best conditions.
- you: this is not possible here (at home). Even less now that the kids are on vacation (from school). Staying there preserve your health.
- Me: Yes, but I could do it in the center of Genoa, and visit you this weekend. You may see me more often. The important thing is that it is a rehabilitation center. Not a good idea? It may take Paul (my cardiologist "historic", which is in Savona) to control myself sometimes. Maybe find something to Savona ...
- She: Well, if this does not change the priorities (refer to the waiting list) ...
- Me: let's do this sly: Monday to ask Dr. O. what they think.
...
at 13:02 (twenty minutes later), chatting with my wife
- Me: Bingo! Already settled. Arenzano you like? Dr. O. is talking right now with Arenzano.
- She: cosaaaa? So quickly?
- I: next Monday okay?
- She: I do not believe
- Me: I is not coming even closer to D. Gnocchi
haha \u200b\u200b- I, because we have not thought before?
All this and 'success because few minutes after I had come this idea came into the room, "the team" to the full to take stock of the situation. I do not miss this opportunity:
- Me: Excuse me, I thought, since you do not care that I remain particularly to D. Gnocchi, and said that I do not feel like going home because I'm sure it would not make it to maintain the "standard" that I have to maintain (low stress, little effort, rehabilitation, gym, etc.). You think it would be possible or acceptable to find a rehabilitation center closer to home?
- to them, for us there would be no problem. Let '... ... in Liguria near Genoa ... hmmm. Arenzano the be all right?
- Me: Of course!
- Dr. O.: I know the primary Arenzano. I a call and see if there is a possibility.
- Me: Well, think for a moment and let me know
- Dr. O.: indeed, I call him now!
Phone call Dr. O.: Hello (...) I have a patient who is hospitalized in the list (...), he is currently in rehab but here in Milan and Genoa and would like to get closer to home (...), you would not an place for him? (...) Ok give me your number so the nurse put in contact with me and they will agree (...)
- Dr. O: okay, okay
- I, but already this week? And the Don Gnocchi?
- Dr. O: at this point has not more sense to come back to the Don Gnocchi, organizations directly transfer Arenzano from here, when resign Monday (in three days).
Uhao! It 's all happened so fast that I have not even been able to store everything and only now (Saturday, August 7, 14.45, when this whole post with these lines) are more or less able to analyze the strengths and weaknesses-which perhaps -I will probably incontro.Ora that I finally managed to publish the post, I'll try to make a second part telling you what I think of all this, and other little things that have happened to me. See you soon!
