Architects for Economic Cooperation and Development is the theme of the seminar which was held Tuesday, December 15 at 10:30 am at the Chamber Magna of the University "Antonio Quistelli, coordinated by Prof. Concetta Fallanca, Director of the Department AACM. The seminar, which proposed a reflection on the themes of sustainability and quality of design in cultures other than Western part in the activities of the Laboratory of Urban Design of the third year of degree course in Architecture in one cycle (charge Profs. Concetta Fallanca, Joseph and Anthony Fera Taccone) and saw the participation of experts in promoting cooperation and solidarity initiatives in favor of emerging countries.
The meeting proposed the project outcomes The seed of hope made in southern Tanzania, presented by Prof. Sebastiano Nucifora and commented by Dr. Valeria Rossi (Head projects of 'NGOs COPE) and the activities undertaken by the Foundation Clara Travia dump in central Malawi, illustrated by Father Vincent Cassone Troletti and Dr. Giovanni Filardo and Orlando. The reflection of Prof. Antonio Taccone and architect. Stefano Muscari Tomajoli on different concept of sustainability to the changing latitudes, opens the prospects of cooperation initiatives and the roles that architects are called upon to play in development of the territories and settlements. Concluded their work by Profs. Don Valerio Chiovaro and Joseph Fera.
